I bought the honey when it was 68 dollars and I made it into 4 gallons of a variety of meads. Each one tasted good and the yeast obviously loved it too. The yeast was a Red Star premiere blanc, the flavor of the honey went along with the yeast profile pretty well.
While it is a pricey item oh, the flavor of this honeyis very sweet and the most delicious I have ever tasted and far superior to anything you would buy in your local grocery store. Also a good value for the money when you compare how much it cost to buy much smaller sizes in the grocery store
Decent honey, doesn't remind me of that awesome thistle-blossom smell which is what I was hoping for, more reminds me of the smell of the glaze on fresh made donuts, if that makes any sense to you. A decent enough honey for purposes such as jun or eating on toast but also cheap enough you can use it for mead or baking. A nice though not enchanting honey.

Just received my honey. I couldn't wait to taste it so I opened it up right away. Its deliciously thick and has a slight taste of licorice. I'm a horticulturist so know that there must be a large growth of goldenrod nearby that your bees are visiting.
I have esophageal ulcers and the honey helps with healing and pain. In fact the pain relief is immediate.
I have ordered multiple times and absolutely love this honey. Both the regular and raw are amazing. There was a mix up on my last order and they corrected it immediately. Not only is the customer service outstanding, but my shipment always arrives much earlier than estimated.
Shipped fast. Very nice honey, great flavor. I use honey as a substitute for sugar in alot of things from baking to drinks. Especially nice in lemonade. So, I use at least 2 gallons a year. Honey is expensive now and this breaks down into a great price per pound with shipping figured in. The honey bees are facing hard times so support your beekeepers. Join your local beekeeping club, maybe even have just 1 hive of your own. I plan on it myself. Interesting hobby and rewarding. Lots of books and resources online to learn.
