The MK18 AR15 style Pistol is inspired by the original MK18, which has been extremely popular within the Law Enforcement and Special Operations communities. This firearm is classified as a Pistol and not a Short Barreled Rifle (NFA regulated items require ATF approval and a tax stamp). The MK18 Pistol features the picatinny quad rail Daniel Defense currently provides to USSOCOM and a 10.3 inch Cold Hammer Forged Barrel, the same length commonly used for CQB operations. The MK18 RISII features our patented 6-bolt Bolt-Up System and has been rigorously tested prior to fielding by USSOCOM. This pistol comes equipped with the SB Tactical SBA3 Pistol Stabilizing Brace with 5 positions of adjustability and integral, ambidextrous QD swivel attachment point. The independently ambi GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle accommodates left- and right-handed shooters. This pistol comes equipped with the ergonomic Daniel Defense Pistol Grip with an integral trigger guard and soft touch overmolding.

- Couldn't be happier with my first ARI've been shooting for a bit but never committed to buying an AR until about a year and a half ago during the riots. Absolutely love this gun. All I have on it it a sling, angled foregrip, light and an Eotech holographic. Couldn't ask for a more reliable, maneuverable and ergonomic home defense setup. They're pricey but hey, you get what you pay for. Now I'm looking to get another AR, possibly an AR10 for recreational shooting, probably go with Daniel Defense again.

- Everything that I imagined & MORE!!!!I'd been searching for my first AR-15, but hadn't ever seen one that made my jaw drop. As I'm unboxing all the firearm shipments at our gun shop, I came across the MK18 Pistol by Daniel Defense.

From the RIS2 to the grips-- this thing is the meanest and most balanced ar platform I've ever owned. If I could only keep one AR this would be it. The Rolex of AR's. 10/10

- I'LL OWN NOTHING ELSE!I own a DD M4 V7 and now the MK18 Pistol. All you have to do is pick up any of the DD firearms and you will never own anything else. They shoot first time and every time right out of the box. Thank god our troops are receiving these rifles. They are the best in the world. I sold my Colt M4, great rifle but just not a DD! Make sure you order directly form DD, you will not find a better price and their service is outstanding!

- Emanates qualityAfter owning the DDm4v7 rifle, I was prompted to purchase the DD mk18 Ar pistol in FDE. Again, such quality. Ordered direct from DD and my FFL dealer had the mk18 within a few days. Daniel kept me informed of status/tracking. When at the gun store picking this up, people tried to huddle around it gawking , same thing at the range. The art and quality is literally self evident. Its difficult to walk past gun safe without stopping to hold and admire this for a moment.

- DD ClassicThe Mk18 is my favorite gun. The RIS2 quad rail feels great, stays cool during mag dumps (I keep the rubber grips on), and is rock solid. The grip-n-rip charging handle does its job and keeps gas out of my face.
