I've had some of these Quickstrips for 3 years now. They do work great & there hasn't been any wear or cracking of the urethane whatsoever. After 3 years, the rounds are also very securely/snugly held in place - the strips haven't become misshapen or loose over time from wear. Tuff indeed. :D

Since I'm disabled & have problems with my hands/joints, the first couple times that I put rounds into the strips it was a challenge; it got a lot easier after the initial uses. You'd think a speedloader would be easier/faster for someone with joint problems, but these Quickstrips are actually a lot easier for me than loading a speedloader. Be sure to read the handy instructions for some good tips.

I carry a couple of these in my purse in a zippered coin purse
Boss Lady Coin Purse by Blue Q  that made out of woven polypropylene (like tarp material or "chicken feed bag" material and is also "tuff"). Two loaded 5-round Quickstrips will fit (.357's as well as .38sp) in my change purse. I've attached a pic but I don't know how Amazon feels about ammunition photos so not sure if it will be removed....

Bought this for a Taurus 605 .357 magnum. It holds the 5 rounds perfectly in place in a pocket until you need them. I use this up north when hunting and fishing in areas frequented by black bears. Also have traditional style speed loaders. Both work well. The Quickstrips lay nicer in a pocket but I usually wear a holster and speed loader pouch together. They should work well in a back pack outer pocket to keep things organized as well when I am camping and hunting in the fall. These would be good if you didn't want to carry a bulky speed loader in your pocket for concealed cary. They are stiff and getting the shells in is a little difficult at first but then they snap right in. they aren't going to just up and let go and dump shells in your pocket either. Removing them will take a deliberate action. I don't know how well they will work in the cold of winter during late bow season. But I know the speed loaders will.

They are sweet and they work.

Not all revolvers work well with speed loaders, this would be a good option for carrying extra ammo and reloading in a stressful situation especially if your grips do not allow you to use a speed loader. When loaded up with 5 rounds, they quick strips hold ammo very securely but also take up very little room, making it easy to drop into a pocket or small nook or cranny in your vehicle, bag, holster, etc. If you have the ability to use a speed loader with your revolver, I'm not sure that these strips would replace them. In fact, the speed loader may even still be preferred for reloads in the home or the vehicle. As far as carrying extra ammo on your person, this should be a little more low profile than a speed loader, without the hassle or noise of loose rounds.

Initially, I found this TUFF Quickstrip to be a bear to load.
Of course , with Nephropathy in both hands , I find that picking my nose is also a difficult task.
The Durometer of the plastic TUFF suses is such that , once the rounds are loaded into the strip , they will stay there .
The idea is to have 5 ( in my case ) available to reload, if necessary, and NOT to have 5 adrift in my pants pocket.
These strips hold !
That is why I bought eight of them. Six black and two orange ones to differentiate the hollow points from the target rounds.
Another brand of strip is said to be easier to load because the plastic hardness ( Shore durometer ) is less.
I suspect that "easier to load into the strip" also means easier to unload in your pants pocket.
When and IF you need to reload a revolver , digging around your pants pocket for the loose rounds will also produce your change and car keys.
I made a plastic insertion tool to make it easier for me to load the TUFF Strip with my not so nimble fingers.
I would have also purchased a tool from TUFF if they had one to sell to me .
HINT , Hint TUFF Guys! $$$

I made a tool to help me insert the cartridge into the strips.

Let's be honest with each other...in this day of high capacity magazines and automatic pistols being the main pistol of choice, the FBI has kept detailed records and most shootings occur within 3 to 7 yards and an average of 3 to 5 rounds are expended. This makes my 1980 Rossi .38 Special a viable EDC pistol. And I swear it is like carrying a small bag of feathers instead of lugging that Glock 21 .45ACP around. These flat stripper clips carry five rounds flat in my back pocket instead of a cylindrical speed loader. With practice I can empty the cylinder and load two and two and one quickly. These are pretty good clips and I am very happy with them.

Yes, they are just two strips of urethane BUT these are great for a revolver, particularly a 5 shot compact where you don't want the bulk of speedloaders. It would have been easy to just make cheaper quality but these are molded perfectly with correct amount of stiffness/bend. Also well packaged in a zip lock with instructions. Good shipping and company.
